📋 Description

• As a Data Engineer at Kpler S.A.S., you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers insights for clients in the commodities, energy, and maritime sectors. Your work will directly enable data-driven decision-making by transforming complex global trade data into reliable, accessible pipelines.
• Day to day, you will design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, ensure data quality and integrity, collaborate with data scientists and analysts to meet analytical needs, and maintain scalable data warehouses using modern cloud-based technologies.
• You will join a global team of over 700 experts from 35+ countries, working in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment where data is central to delivering actionable intelligence. Kpler fosters a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in large-scale data systems, gain hands-on experience with real-time and batch processing at scale, and contribute to products that influence global market strategies—advancing your career as a trusted data engineering professional.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, Luigi, or similar
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and scripting
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data services (e.g., S3, Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake)
• Understanding of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and data quality best practices
