📋 Description

• • As a Data Engineer (Gen AI) at Interactive Brokers LLC, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure to support enterprise-wide AI initiatives and advanced analytics, directly enabling data-driven decision-making across a global financial services leader.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and managing ETL/ELT pipelines, building data lake platforms using S3 and Iceberg, developing real-time streaming pipelines with Kafka, creating Python-based data applications for Gen AI RAG workflows, collaborating with data scientists and internal teams, monitoring pipeline performance, and producing comprehensive technical documentation.
• • You will join the Enterprise Architecture organization within Interactive Brokers, a global financial services innovator recognized as Barron’s #1 online broker for six consecutive years, operating in over 15 countries and serving clients in 200+ territories with cutting-edge technology and competitive pricing.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in modern data stack technologies, gain hands-on experience with AI-enabled data workflows, contribute to enterprise-scale Gen AI knowledge base systems, and establish data engineering best practices while working with AWS, PySpark, Kafka, and containerized CI/CD pipelines.
