- • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support enterprise-level data integration across banking, financial services, insurance, telecom, retail, energy, automotive, manufacturing, logistics, and high-tech industries.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to extract, transform, and load structured and unstructured data from diverse sources including cloud platforms, databases, APIs, and legacy systems.
- • Implement and optimize data warehousing solutions using modern cloud technologies, with a focus on Microsoft Azure and other enterprise-grade cloud environments.
- • Develop and enforce data quality standards, monitoring frameworks, and validation protocols to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of enterprise data assets.
- • Automate data workflows and reporting pipelines using scripting languages and orchestration tools to reduce manual intervention and improve operational efficiency.
- • Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
- • Contribute to the design and implementation of data governance policies, metadata management, and data lineage tracking across distributed systems.
- • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and agile sprint planning as part of a global team of 500+ software engineers.
- • Support the deployment and maintenance of data infrastructure in compliance with industry-specific regulatory and security standards.
- • Leverage Tricentis, Creatio, and Doxee platforms to enhance test automation, workflow management, and document processing within data-driven applications.
- • Apply AI and machine learning principles to enhance data processing capabilities, including predictive modeling and anomaly detection in large datasets.
- • Ensure seamless integration between data engineering systems and existing enterprise software ecosystems used by global clients in Europe and the US.
- • Document data architectures, pipeline logic, and operational procedures to enable knowledge sharing and onboarding across international teams.
- • Maintain high standards of code quality, version control, and CI/CD practices aligned with DevOps methodologies.
- • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production data systems, responding to incidents and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner.
- • Engage in continuous learning and adoption of emerging technologies in data engineering, cloud computing, and automation frameworks.
- • Communicate technical concepts and project updates in English and German to international stakeholders and clients based in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and other European markets.
- • Work within a quality-first culture that emphasizes innovation, long-term client partnerships, and sustainable software development practices.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proficiency in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Apache Airflow, SSIS, or similar
- • Strong experience with cloud data platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure
- • Fluency in German and English for technical communication with clients and teams
