Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Lead the extraction, ingestion, and harmonization of historical freight, order, inventory, and carrier rate card data from diverse legacy systems to build a unified data foundation for AI-powered operational transformation.
- • Design and architect a canonical data schema with defined "Minimum Viable Attributes" to normalize fragmented supply chain data for consistent downstream consumption by AI models and analytics teams.
- • Build robust, reusable ETL/ELT pipelines that operate within a highly regulated environment, ensuring data integrity, security, and scalability across client implementations.
- • Ensure data quality, completeness, and structural readiness to support training of predictive machine learning models and optimization simulations critical to identifying inefficiencies in logistics allocation.
- • Collaborate closely with Solutions Architects to establish and maintain secure, single-tenant sandbox environments that enforce strict data isolation and compliance standards.
- • Support Operations Strategy teams by providing structured data frameworks to decompose current allocation logic, enabling identification of wrong-node, mode-mix, and escalation drivers in supply chain operations.
- • Work in rapid, hypothesis-driven 12-week sprint cycles focused on validation experiments rather than traditional long-cycle IT delivery methods.
- • Utilize LLM code assistants (e.g., Cursor, Copilot) and agentic engineering workflows to enhance productivity, accelerate development, and improve code quality in AI-native environments.
- • Engage with Business Analysts and Full Stack Engineers to translate raw supply chain data into actionable insights that drive speed, efficiency, and fiscal gain for clients in energy, real estate, and logistics sectors.
- • Maintain a relentless focus on building symbiotic human-AI systems that amplify team performance and reduce operational friction through seamless data automation.
- • Contribute to an organization-wide culture of candid feedback, selfless collaboration, and ever-evolving excellence by openly sharing learnings and improving systems weekly.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of senior-level data engineering experience with proven expertise in designing data architecture, data lakes/warehouses, and complex ETL/ELT pipelines
- • Deep proficiency in Python, advanced SQL, and modern data processing libraries
- • Hands-on experience deploying secure, high-performance data infrastructure in cloud environments (e.g., PostgreSQL)
- • Previous experience working with supply chain, logistics, or ERP data (shipment histories, inventory levels, freight billing)
- • Ability to thrive in rapid, hypothesis-driven sprint cycles (12-week models) focused on validation experiments
- • Comfort utilizing LLM code assistants (e.g., Cursor, Copilot) and agentic engineering to multiply productivity and enhance code quality
🏖️ Benefits
- • Work from anywhere, forever — fully remote and global team with autonomy over time and energy management
- • Immersive, all-expenses-paid company retreats in unique locations to connect, learn, and grow together
- • Competitive compensation package including equity, bonuses, and substantial participation in company profits with a clear growth path to C-Level leadership based on performance
