📋 Description

• As a Data Engineering Lead at Moniepoint Inc., you will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization by building and maintaining robust, scalable data systems that support business intelligence and operations.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will include building and maintaining data pipelines for large-scale data processing, analyzing datasets using Python and SQL, optimizing the data platform for performance and cost, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet data needs, developing tools to monitor model performance and data accuracy, solving data-related problems, setting up end-to-end data pipelines, managing source code repositories, exploring ML and AI applications to enhance cloud offerings, and mentoring junior engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer (5-7+ years, with accomplishments considered in lieu of strict tenure)
• Strong leadership experience
• Advanced proficiency with SQL and proficiency with Python
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, Azure)
• Experience using version control tools such as git
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
