  • • The Senior Data & Reporting Analyst at Prime Therapeutics plays a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiency across the organization. As a trusted expert within the Reporting and Analytics team, this position ensures that business leaders have access to accurate, timely, and meaningful reports that support pharmacy benefit management initiatives and improve health outcomes for members.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining reporting solutions aligned with internal standards by translating business needs into technical designs using SQL, Excel, Access, and BI tools like Tableau, SAS, or Alteryx; facilitating requirement-gathering sessions with stakeholders to prioritize reporting projects; improving the reliability and performance of existing reports; establishing data governance and metrics consistency protocols; coaching junior analysts and clients on data interpretation and tool usage; building cross-functional partnerships with leadership across departments; and traveling routinely to the Little Rock, AR Medicaid office to strengthen client relationships and ensure alignment with regional operations.

  • • In this role, the analyst will deepen expertise in healthcare data domains including medical and pharmacy claims, benefits administration, and quality metrics; gain hands-on experience with enterprise BI platforms and data modeling techniques; develop leadership and coaching abilities by mentoring peers; enhance stakeholder management and consulting skills through regular engagement with clinical, financial, and operational leaders; and contribute to process improvement initiatives that elevate the organization’s analytical maturity and impact.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data analysis and reporting
  • • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with SQL for data querying and manipulation
  • • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and automation
  • • Proven experience with report generation and business intelligence tools such as SAS, Alteryx, QlikView, Business Objects, Tableau, or similar platforms
  • • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, manage multiple priorities, and communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
