- • Build, validate, and ship end-to-end predictive machine learning models including churn prediction, LTV forecasting, propensity modelling, and recommendation systems for a B2C SaaS product.
- • Own the full ML workflow: from problem framing and feature engineering to model development, evaluation, deployment, and ongoing monitoring in production.
- • Monitor deployed models for performance degradation and retrain or adjust them as user behavior and product features evolve.
- • Design and analyze A/B tests, uplift models, and causal inference experiments to rigorously measure product impact and reduce measurement variance.
- • Help establish the company’s experimentation framework and modelling standards as foundational practices for the growing data team.
- • Engineer features using user-level data with strict adherence to privacy policies, avoiding sensitive attribute leakage and ensuring compliance with data-use regulations.
- • Partner with Data Engineers to productionize models via reliable feature pipelines and, where applicable, implement a feature store.
- • Translate complex model outputs into clear, actionable recommendations for Product, Growth, Engineering, and Finance teams, directly tying results to business metrics and company goals.
- • Explore opportunities for AI/ML to create tangible product value as the company expands into AI-powered features.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally to embed data-driven decision-making into product development cycles and growth strategies.
- • Work in a remote-first environment with broad ownership, shaping the data function from the ground up with direct influence on the product roadmap.
- • Operate autonomously in a fast-moving scale-up environment where priorities evolve quickly and ambiguity is common.
- • Communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders through compelling narratives that drive decision-making and alignment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years building and deploying machine learning models in a production setting
- • Strong Python and SQL skills, with solid command of the modern ML stack (scikit-learn, plus PyTorch or TensorFlow where relevant)
- • Sound grounding in statistics and experiment design: significance testing, causal inference, and uplift or propensity modelling
- • Hands-on experience with predictive use cases: churn, LTV, propensity, or recommendation
- • Comfort owning a model end to end — from problem framing to production and measurement, not just notebooks
- • Ability to turn complex analysis into a clear narrative and actionable recommendation for non-technical stakeholders
