- • Use analytical and statistical approaches to solve key business problems using large and complex datasets from product usage, customer behavior, and sales metrics.
- • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to analyze user behavior, feature adoption rates, and product performance to drive improvements in the user experience.
- • Design, conduct, and evaluate A/B tests to measure the impact of product changes and communicate results to cross-functional teams to inform optimization decisions.
- • Work with product teams to define and track key product metrics, building and maintaining dashboards in Superset for real-time performance monitoring.
- • Proactively identify trends in user data to inform product development roadmaps, sales strategies, and industry thought leadership in the home décor sector.
- • Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques for customer segmentation, predictive modeling, and forecasting future product trends.
- • Leverage company data to generate actionable insights for individual customers, enabling targeted marketing strategies based on user preferences and behavior patterns.
- • Perform data preprocessing, wrangling, and feature engineering to prepare datasets for analysis, ensuring high-quality, customer-ready insights.
- • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders including executives and customer-facing teams.
- • Engage directly with customers and senior leadership to understand their data needs and deliver tailored insights that drive business outcomes.
- • Utilize Python (pandas, matplotlib, scikit-learn, numpy, scipy), SQL, Redshift, PostgreSQL, dbt, and Superset to extract, analyze, and visualize data.
- • Maintain a high standard of data quality and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and reliability in all analytical outputs.
- • Contribute to a culture of curiosity and ownership by challenging assumptions, testing hypotheses, and relentlessly pursuing data-driven improvements.

- • Exceptional attention to detail and focus on quality
- • Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
- • Comfortable engaging with customers and senior executives
- • Technical background demonstrated through a degree in statistics, mathematics, or related technical field, or equivalent relevant work experience
- • Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language used for analysis (e.g., Python)
