- • As the DeFi Success Lead at Monad Foundation, you will be instrumental in spearheading the growth and deepening of Monad's decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. This is a pivotal role focused not just on attracting protocols to the Monad blockchain, but on ensuring their sustained success and integration, thereby maximizing the overall impact of decentralized technology.
- • You will work directly and collaboratively with existing DeFi protocols building on Monad, developing bespoke strategies to enhance their Total Value Locked (TVL), expand their product offerings, and foster critical integrations that amplify their individual value and contribute to a cohesive ecosystem.
- • A significant focus of your responsibilities will involve bridging the gap between traditional finance and DeFi, specifically by integrating Real-World Assets (RWAs) into the Monad DeFi landscape. This entails cultivating relationships with issuers of tokenized assets, including treasuries, credit facilities, and investment funds.
- • You will strategically connect these RWA issuers with Monad's native lending protocols, yield vaults, and liquidity infrastructure, enabling these assets to generate productive on-chain yield.
- • Your expertise will be crucial in structuring collateral, designing RWA looping strategies, and building confidence among institutional capital allocators to deploy funds into these innovative DeFi products.
- • This role reports directly to the VP of Go-to-Market and serves as a central node in Monad's comprehensive ecosystem strategy. You will be the primary point of contact for protocol teams seeking to scale their operations, leveraging the Foundation's resources and extensive network to facilitate their growth.
- • You will own the end-to-end growth trajectory of protocols, crafting tailored plans that encompass liquidity incentive programs, co-incentive campaign structures, and the identification of crucial missing integrations.
- • A key aspect of your role is to meticulously track TVL and volume metrics against predefined targets, ensuring accountability for protocol success beyond their initial launch.
- • You will actively build and nurture the RWA x DeFi flywheel by sourcing and managing relationships with tokenized asset issuers, ensuring they are connected with the most suitable lending protocols, yield vaults, and stablecoin infrastructure on Monad.
- • Your responsibilities include designing sophisticated looping strategies and collateral structures that render RWAs composable and yield-generating within the on-chain environment, moving beyond mere listing.
- • You will excel at connecting disparate elements within the ecosystem, identifying synergistic opportunities that generate compounding value. This could involve pairing a lending market with a Decentralized Exchange (DEX) to create deeper liquidity loops or linking a yield vault with an RWA issuer to significantly boost TVL.
- • Your strategic vision will enable you to perceive the ecosystem as an interconnected system rather than a collection of isolated protocols.
- • You will play a vital role in onboarding institutional capital onto the Monad chain, engaging with institutional Limited Partners (LPs), asset managers, and capital allocators.
- • Your objective will be to identify and present compelling opportunities for deploying capital into RWA-backed DeFi products on Monad, demonstrating fluency in both DeFi-native concepts and TradFi-adjacent markets.
- • You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, holding yourself accountable to key performance metrics and adopting a mindset where protocol success is viewed as your own achievement.

🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in DeFi collaborations or ecosystem growth, ideally with a Layer 1, Layer 2, or major protocol-affiliated organization, demonstrating a track record of growing TVL and user activity, not just closing deals.
- • Prior experience working with RWA protocols or tokenization platforms, with a deep understanding of how tokenized assets move from issuance into productive DeFi yield, including collateral structures, redemption mechanics, and oracle dependencies.
- • Comprehensive understanding of the interplay between lending markets, Automated Market Makers (AMMs), yield vaults, and liquidity incentives, with the ability to diagnose protocol growth challenges and propose actionable solutions.
- • Experience engaging with institutional counterparts such as asset managers, family offices, or similar entities, and a demonstrated ability to make institutional capital comfortable with DeFi-native infrastructure.
- • High degree of autonomy, strong accountability to metrics, and a proactive, results-oriented approach to driving protocol success.
