• • The Deployed Engineering team is dedicated to partnering directly with companies that are building and operating AI agents in production. We transform innovative ideas and initial prototypes into reliable, scalable systems that drive business value. This is a highly technical, hands-on role where you will collaborate closely with customer engineers throughout the entire lifecycle of an AI agent project.
• • Your responsibilities will span from pre-sales evaluations, where you'll demonstrate the power of LangChain through Proofs of Concept (POCs) and technical deep dives, to post-deployment advisory services, ensuring customers achieve optimal performance and reliability.
• • The core focus of this role is to achieve the technical win by co-designing sophisticated agent architectures, guiding customers through implementation, and helping them operate their AI agents reliably at scale using the LangChain suite of tools, including LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith.
• • As a Deployed Engineer, you will operate at the critical intersection of engineering, product development, and go-to-market strategy. You will be instrumental in shaping how LangChain is adopted in the field, gathering invaluable real-world insights, and feeding this crucial feedback directly back into our platform to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• • You will tackle some of the most challenging problems in applied AI, moving beyond simple demos or research to build and support systems that real teams rely on for their daily operations. The fast-paced feedback loop and the visible impact of your work will directly influence the practical application and evolution of AI agents worldwide.
• • Key responsibilities include co-architecting and co-building production-grade AI agents in close collaboration with customer engineering teams. You will be responsible for securing the technical win during pre-sales engagements by designing compelling POCs, providing in-depth technical answers, and expertly guiding customer evaluations.
• • You will assist customers in deploying and operating sophisticated agent-based applications, such as advanced conversational agents, complex research assistants, and multi-step automated workflows. Post-sale, you will provide expert advice to customers on architecture design, best practices for AI agent implementation, and strategic roadmap decisions.
• • This role involves conducting technical demonstrations, delivering comprehensive training sessions, and leading workshops tailored for developer audiences, fostering a deeper understanding and adoption of LangChain technologies.
• • A crucial aspect of your role will be to surface field feedback and contribute to the development of reusable patterns, comprehensive cookbooks, and example code that can be scaled and applied across multiple customer engagements, accelerating the success of others.
• • You will also have the opportunity to contribute code directly to the LangChain open-source projects when such contributions can meaningfully improve customer outcomes and enhance the platform's capabilities.
