📋 Description

  • • As a Deputy Program Manager at CDW Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success and compliance of assigned contracts, particularly within our State and Local segment. This virtual position, based in Illinois, offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a leading multi-brand provider of information technology solutions.
  • • You will be instrumental in the direct contract management of assigned contracts or significant portions of very large contracts, focusing on maximizing their performance and ensuring adherence to all commitments. This includes meticulous oversight of regulatory and operational components, guaranteeing that CDW operates within all legal and contractual frameworks.
  • • A key responsibility involves collaborating closely with the Program Manager, Legal department, and other relevant stakeholders to draft and negotiate critical contractual documents. This includes master sales agreements, special program agreements, teaming agreements, amendments, addenda, and any other necessary contractual instruments, ensuring they align with CDW's strategic objectives and risk appetite.
  • • You will act as an educator and guide for sellers, partners, and customers, providing clear and concise information on the proper usage and implications of contracts. This proactive approach helps prevent misunderstandings and ensures smooth contract execution.
  • • Working in tandem with assigned Contract Analysts, you will ensure the accurate and timely delivery of all contract-related deliverables. This encompasses meticulous management of accounting details, fee and rebate processing, service level reporting, and other crucial data-related outputs, maintaining the integrity and performance of each contract.
  • • You will serve as a strategic consultant to our Pre-Award teams, offering valuable insights and guidance to help construct profitable and manageable programs. Your expertise will be crucial in developing strategies that maximize profits while effectively minimizing risk, laying a strong foundation for future contract success.
  • • A significant aspect of the role involves managing pricing across contracts. You will work collaboratively with partners to identify and drive the best possible price scenarios, ensuring competitive positioning and optimal financial outcomes for CDW and its clients.
  • • You will be responsible for maintaining and organizing internal resources that contain integral contract information. This ensures that the business has readily accessible and up-to-date data for decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • • Establishing and maintaining a comprehensive repository of all contracts and associated materials is essential. This will be done in strict accordance with established company policies, ensuring data security, compliance, and ease of retrieval.
  • • Finally, you will oversee the appropriate and thorough closeout of concluded contracts, ensuring all obligations have been met and all necessary documentation is finalized, leaving no loose ends and maintaining CDW's reputation for professionalism.
  • • This role demands a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can operate autonomously, influence positive change, and contribute to a collaborative environment focused on achieving desired business outcomes. Your ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic contracting approaches will be key to your success.
