In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping and elevating the Resend brand, website, and product through a unique blend of design acumen and engineering prowess. At Resend, we view code as a powerful tool for designers, akin to Figma, enabling us to tackle complex challenges with speed, scale, and exceptional craftsmanship. We are looking for individuals who possess a broad spectrum of design skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate sophisticated concepts into high-quality, interactive user experiences and polished prototypes.
• • As a Design Engineer, your responsibilities will span the entire design and development lifecycle. You will dive deep into design explorations within Figma, meticulously translating these visual concepts into seamless, web-native experiences. A core aspect of your role will involve building intricate and interactive UI elements for both web and application platforms, ensuring a fluid and intuitive user journey. You will also be expected to actively engage with the codebase, refining and enhancing the user experience through code-level optimizations and creative problem-solving. Furthermore, you will play a crucial part in understanding and translating customer needs and feedback into tangible, effective solutions, ensuring our product consistently meets and exceeds user expectations.
• • This is a fully remote position, open to candidates based in the Americas or Europe.
