- • As a Design Engineer at Firecrawl Inc., you will own the look, feel, and experience of the platform across product UI, documentation, playgrounds, and marketing pages, transforming rough sketches into production-ready interfaces with a focus on motion, precision, and performance.
- • Day to day, you will build beautiful, fast UIs using Next.js, Tailwind, and Framer Motion; create and optimize product pages and interactive playgrounds; maintain and scale the internal design system; own UX and polish across marketing, docs, and app interfaces; collaborate directly with founders to ship high-impact features; and lead proof-of-concept work for new ideas and experiences.
- • Firecrawl is a small, fast-moving, technical team building essential infrastructure for AI-driven web data extraction, having achieved 8 figures in ARR and 100k+ GitHub stars by enabling developers to convert URLs into LLM-ready data with a single API call.
- • In this role, you will ship real products used by developers, deepen your expertise in modern frontend stacks, influence the design and experience of a growing AI infrastructure platform, and work in a high-urgency, autonomous environment that values iteration and impact over perfection.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience in design engineering, frontend engineering, or related roles
- • Proficiency in at least two of the core technologies: Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Framer Motion, with eagerness to master the third
- • Proven ability to ship live, user-facing projects — not just mockups — with a portfolio demonstrating real-world usage
