📋 Description

• As a Design Imagineer at Abridge AI, you will redefine how design and engineering intersect to shape how clinicians experience AI-powered healthcare tools daily, directly reducing administrative burden and restoring focus on patient care.
• You will build Abridge’s design system from the ground up, create AI-native tooling to accelerate prototyping, and develop workflows that empower designers to move seamlessly from concept to production code regardless of technical background.
• You’ll collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and product leaders to elevate craft across interaction, motion, performance, and accessibility, ensuring every shipped experience feels thoughtful, cohesive, and clinically meaningful.
• This role offers the opportunity to invent new ways of working at the frontier of generative AI in healthcare, where you’ll set standards for responsible AI deployment while growing your expertise in design systems, AI-enabled tooling, and cross-disciplinary innovation.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience in design engineering, design systems, creative technologist work, front-end engineering, or similar hybrid roles
• Proven experience building or contributing to scalable design systems across teams and products
• Fluency in modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript) and hands-on experience with frameworks like React
