- • As the Design Systems Lead at Imprint Technologies Inc., you will own the strategy, evolution, and execution of the company's design system, playing a pivotal role in shaping how product experiences are designed and built across the organization. This role is critical to enabling faster, higher-quality product development in an AI-native environment.
- • Day to day, you will define and drive the long-term vision for the design system, create and maintain a strategic roadmap, establish governance and contribution models, mentor a small team of design systems designers, partner closely with Product Design, Engineering, Product Management, and AI teams, review and improve component architecture and documentation, and contribute hands-on to design system initiatives.
- • Imprint is building a modern platform that helps top brands grow customer lifetime value through smarter, brand-first co-branded credit programs and advanced financial products powered by payments infrastructure, intelligent underwriting, and customer data. Backed by top-tier investors, the company is redefining how people pay and how brands grow.
- • In this role, you will learn and achieve strategic impact by establishing a scalable design system that accelerates product development, fosters cross-functional alignment, and positions Imprint at the forefront of AI-integrated design and development workflows, while growing your leadership influence across product, engineering, and AI teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of product design experience, including significant design systems ownership
- • Experience leading or managing design systems teams
- • Demonstrated success building and scaling systems used across multiple product teams
- • Strong product judgment and ability to prioritize high-impact work
- • Deep understanding of design systems, component architecture, tokens, accessibility, and design-to-development workflows
- • Experience partnering closely with frontend engineers and engineering leadership
- • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across functions
