📋 Description

• The Developer Experience Engineer (DevEx) role at Arbor Education focuses on building and enhancing the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) to improve how engineers design, build, and deploy software securely and efficiently.
• Day to day, the role involves designing and maintaining IDP tooling, integrating CI/CD and observability systems, embedding AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code or Codex, standardising engineering workflows, building automation scripts, and collaborating with DevSecOps to enforce secure-by-design practices.
• Arbor Education is a mission-driven company transforming school management through its MIS and school management tools used in over 12,000 schools and trusts, aiming to reduce burnout, improve data usability, and create happier working environments for education staff.
