- • As a Developer Support Technician in the Mission Control Centre (MCC), you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of live game services for PC, console, and mobile titles, directly contributing to player satisfaction and the reliability of Rocket Science Interactive’s new product offering.
- • You will be part of a newly formed 24/7/365 monitoring and incident management team responsible for maintaining optimal performance across Unity’s Multiplay game server hosting solution, supporting customer migrations, and safeguarding live operations through proactive issue detection and rapid response.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring live services, managing incident response, and ensuring SLA compliance while delivering exceptional customer experience through clear communication and timely ticket resolution.
- • You will diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues using monitoring tools, perform basic debugging and network diagnostics, and restore backend services swiftly to minimise downtime and impact on player experience.
- • You will develop, refine, and follow incident management policies, escalation procedures, and communication protocols to standardise responses and improve operational resilience across platforms.
- • In addition to technical support, you will assist with player operations such as chat moderation, restoring in-game items, managing player suspension appeals, and providing player support on behalf of our customers.
- • You will collaborate with a distributed team across Europe and North America, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement through process refinement, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

- • Experience in a customer-facing role with a strong commitment to putting customer experience first in all interactions.
- • Demonstrated ability to think clearly, make decisive actions, and remain analytical under pressure during high-stress incidents.
- • Technical proficiency in connecting to and diagnosing server faults, performing basic network debugging, and familiarity with scripting for automation and troubleshooting.

- • Fully remote working arrangement with all necessary equipment provided, based in the South Wales region with occasional flexibility to visit the Cardiff City Centre office.
