Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As a DevOps Engineer at Redgate Software Limited, you will play a critical role in enhancing the delivery, reliability, and scalability of Redgate Monitor, a flagship product, while contributing to broader DevOps capabilities across the organization. Your work will directly impact engineering efficiency, reduce operational toil, and support teams in delivering high-quality software faster and more securely.
- • Day to day, you will collaborate with Monitor engineering teams, Technical Operations, Security, and Support to improve CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (primarily Terraform) on AWS, and strengthen operational visibility through metrics, logging, alerting, and dashboards. You will also focus on the unique challenges of delivering an on-premises product, including robust packaging, reliable upgrade paths, and well-tested release processes.
- • You will join Redgate’s central DevOps function, a values-driven team dedicated to improving delivery systems, enabling engineering teams, and building scalable platforms and practices. The company fosters a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and psychological safety, where DevOps is seen as a discipline that empowers teams rather than just manages infrastructure.
- • In this role, you will grow as a DevOps practitioner by influencing engineering culture, sharing knowledge across product areas, coaching teammates, and leaving systems in a better state than you found them. You’ll gain deep experience in balancing speed, reliability, and security in complex delivery environments while contributing to Redgate’s mission of helping data professionals maximize the value of their databases.
