- • As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer at Gong.io Ltd., you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable cloud infrastructure—primarily on AWS—while shaping the foundation of Gong’s U.S.-based R&D expansion.
- • Day to day, you will design and deploy secured infrastructure, automate CI/CD pipelines with security tooling, manage Kubernetes environments, collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Security, and IT teams, and drive improvements in observability and developer experience.
- • You will join a small, high-impact DevSecOps team within Gong’s fast-growing U.S. R&D organization, working alongside passionate engineers in a transparent, trust-based culture that values innovation and craftsmanship.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud security, infrastructure-as-code, DevSecOps practices, and Kubernetes operations while contributing to Gong’s mission of transforming revenue intelligence through AI-powered insights.
🎯 Requirements
- • BS in Computer Science or related field
- • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineering roles
- • Proven track record of building and operating scalable cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- • Deep understanding of infrastructure-as-code and GitOps methodologies (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
- • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.)
- • Extensive experience running Kubernetes and container orchestration in production
- • Solid understanding of computer networking, REST architecture, and cloud security concepts
- • Experience with vulnerability scanning, security automation in CI/CD, and container/Kubernetes security best practices
- • Background in Java-based environments
- • One or more security-related certifications (CKA, CISSP, CEH, Security+, or similar)
- • Hands-on experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.)
- • Excellent communication skills
- • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth SaaS or product environments
- • Bonus: Experience in hybrid/global teams across time zones
- • Willing to travel internationally from time to time
