- • DevOps Engineer (Contract outside of IR35) at Twinstream AG – a remote role focused on deploying and maintaining a cross-domain system using AMQP event-driven microservices and Docker containers.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with feature development teams to promote component releases, maintaining system availability via real-time monitoring, instrumenting new metrics and alerts, responding to incidents, liaising with customer stakeholders, and applying automation to reduce manual operations.
- • Twinstream AG, founded in 2019 by engineers from government organisations, has grown to over 100 team members across the UK, delivering technical excellence through hybrid and remote work models with a strong focus on client service and technical innovation.
- • This role offers the opportunity to deepen expertise in DevOps best practices, work with cutting-edge tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Prometheus, and contribute to highly observable, available systems in a managed service environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience in infrastructure automation tools (CloudFormation, Terraform or Ansible)
- • Experience working with Docker containers and container orchestration tools (such as Kubernetes, OpenShift or Docker Swarm)
- • Experience using and maintaining CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions)
- • Good understanding of relational databases and SQL
- • Linux command line, administration and shell scripting
- • Solid understanding of monitoring, auto-scaling, performance tuning, troubleshooting and disaster recovery best practices
