DevOps Engineer, Field Delivery

📋 Description

• • As a DevOps Engineer in Field Delivery at Autodesk, you will own and operate the infrastructure powering construction-focused software used on active job sites where reliability and connectivity are critical.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing AWS-based infrastructure via Terraform, administering PostgreSQL databases, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, implementing security best practices, setting up monitoring and observability, defining incident response processes, managing cloud costs, and collaborating with engineering teams to support new system development.
• • You will work within Autodesk’s Field Delivery team, which builds software for construction workers in challenging environments, and partner closely with broader Autodesk teams to ensure compliance with security, privacy, and governance standards.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, security, and compliance while contributing to systems that must perform reliably in real-world field conditions, with opportunities to lead improvements in tooling, efficiency, and developer experience.
