- • Become the first hire in a new Platform team to build the infrastructure function from scratch, owning strategy and execution across the entire business;
- • Transform legacy infrastructure into a mature, well-structured platform with clear service maps, dependencies, and ownership areas;
- • Elevate Terraform and Kubernetes to enterprise maturity by implementing modular IaC architecture, standardized deployments, and autoscaling to ensure predictable and reliable releases;
- • Design and implement a full observability system using metrics, logs, and traces with tools like Prometheus and Grafana to enable proactive system monitoring and reduce reactive incident response;
- • Strengthen security practices by enforcing access control, secure secrets management, and protection against external threats, embedding security into the engineering culture;
- • Optimize data infrastructure to ensure stable, efficient pipelines that support analytics and business decision-making across Product, Growth/Marketing, and Payments domains;
- • Create reusable platform templates and abstractions so product teams can focus on feature development without managing underlying infrastructure;
- • Work cross-functionally across three core business domains — Product, Growth/Marketing, and Payments — to build scalable solutions that serve the entire business, not just isolated teams;
- • Write production-level code in Bash and Python, and contribute to backend systems using Node.js or TypeScript to solve complex engineering challenges;
- • Actively integrate AI tools into daily workflows to accelerate task execution and expand problem-solving capabilities;
- • Drive infrastructure cost optimization and budgeting practices, aligning technical decisions with financial outcomes;
- • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, staging, and production deployments with high reliability;
- • Ensure infrastructure scalability to support 3x growth in 2025 and doubling of growth in 2026 as Leaply targets top-3 global healthtech status;
- • Collaborate with 1500+ professionals across SKELAR’s ecosystem of 15+ businesses in EdTech, HealthTech, and other verticals;
- • Operate within a fast-moving, open-communication environment with ambitious goals and a track record of successful exits and global product launches.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of commercial experience in Infrastructure / DevOps
- • Strong experience with Kubernetes + Helm (clusters, deployments, autoscaling, health checks)
- • Proficiency with GCP (projects, networking, services, access management)
- • Expertise in Terraform (infrastructure as code, modules, state management)
- • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- • Proven ability to implement observability systems (Prometheus/Grafana or similar)
- • Solid understanding of security practices (access control, secrets management, threat protection)
- • Ability to write production-level code in Bash/Python and contribute to backend systems (Node.js/TypeScript)
- • Ownership mindset with proactive risk identification and business-impact thinking
- • Active use of AI tools in workflow to enhance efficiency and scope
