DevOps Manager (USAF Cloud One)​

📋 Description

• • As a DevOps Manager for the USAF Cloud One contract, you will lead a team of 5-15 DevOps engineers to modernize a global-scale multi-cloud environment supporting critical Air Force missions, ensuring system resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• • Day to day, you will design and implement CI/CD pipelines, manage infrastructure as code using Terraform or Ansible, oversee container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker, define and monitor SLIs/SLOs/SLAs, lead incident response and postmortems, drive DevSecOps practices, and collaborate with cybersecurity analysts and development teams to embed reliability and security into the SDLC.
• • You will join Leidos, a leader in defense and technology solutions, working on a high-impact federal contract that modernizes cloud infrastructure for the U.S. Air Force, with hybrid remote work options and preferred proximity to Hanscom AFB (Boston, MA) or Huntsville, AL.
• • In this role, you will develop technical leadership skills by mentoring junior staff, presenting architectural designs to executive leadership, driving continuous improvement through proactive monitoring, and gaining deep expertise in multi-cloud DevSecOps, automation, and mission-critical system reliability in a fast-paced, security-cleared environment.
