- • As a DevSecOps Engineer supporting a federal client, you will play a critical role in embedding security into the software development lifecycle, ensuring that applications and infrastructure meet stringent federal compliance standards while enabling rapid, secure delivery of technology solutions.
- • Your work will directly contribute to national security initiatives by helping maintain the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of government systems through automated security controls and continuous monitoring in cloud environments.
- • Day to day, you will assist in developing, maintaining, and monitoring CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- • You will support infrastructure as code (IaC) efforts using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates to provision and manage cloud resources in a repeatable, secure manner.
- • You will help integrate security scanning and compliance checks into pipelines, including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and container scanning tools to identify vulnerabilities early in the development cycle.
- • You will support cloud infrastructure operations in AWS, Azure, or GCP, applying security best practices such as least privilege access, encryption, and network segmentation.
- • You will assist with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes, ensuring secure image building, runtime protection, and cluster configuration.
- • You will monitor system environments, logs, and security alerts, contributing to troubleshooting and incident response efforts when anomalies are detected.
- • You will document configurations, security controls, and operational procedures to support audit readiness and compliance with federal mandates.
- • You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
- • You will learn and apply federal security frameworks including NIST 800-53, FISMA, and FedRAMP, gaining hands-on experience in how security is implemented in regulated government environments.

🎯 Requirements
- • Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance; Interim Top Secret acceptable (sponsorship not available).
- • 2+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, systems engineering, or cybersecurity.
- • Must be a U.S. citizen and reside in the United States, as work must be performed domestically due to federal contract requirements.

- • Competitive pay range of $89,649.00 to $152,404.00 based on experience, skills, certifications, and contract labor categories.
