- • The DFR Installation Technician role at Brinc Ltd. is critical to deploying life-saving drone technology for public safety agencies across the United States, directly supporting first responders in emergency situations by ensuring reliable hardware and software installation in the field.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include traveling to customer sites in varying weather conditions to assemble, troubleshoot, and maintain BRINC’s drone hardware and software systems; engaging with customers to understand needs and address concerns; collaborating with internal teams to resolve technical issues and advocate for product improvements based on field feedback; ensuring all installations meet building codes and safety standards; and independently managing all travel logistics including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation.

- • In this role, the technician will develop deep expertise in field deployment of unmanned aerial systems, gain hands-on experience with ruggedized electronics and electrical systems in high-stakes environments, strengthen customer-facing technical support skills, and contribute directly to product evolution through real-world feedback — positioning them for growth in field operations, technical services, or public safety technology roles.
🎯 Requirements
- • Ability to assemble and disassemble products following installation guidelines and manuals
- • Basic computer knowledge and networking aptitude
- • General working experience with electronics components, low and high voltage electrical wiring, and mechanics related to hardware assembly and troubleshooting
- • Ability to safely climb and work from ladders at various heights
- • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects of varying weights
- • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
