- • As a Digital Field Service Engineer at Alcon Inc., you will ensure that Alcon’s medical equipment functions effectively at customer sites, directly contributing to improved eye health and patient outcomes by maintaining critical diagnostic and surgical systems.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include leading the planning and installation of Alcon-connected products, performing corrective and preventative maintenance, managing equipment upgrades, troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating with customer IT and commercial teams, maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, and supporting sales and clinical teams with service contract promotions and technical assistance.
- • You will be part of Alcon’s Engineering function, a global team dedicated to advancing quality, processes, and product innovation across the eye care industry, operating within an inclusive culture that values diverse talent and supports career growth for over 25,000 associates worldwide.
- • In this role, you will develop advanced technical expertise in medical device networking, hospital IT systems, and field service operations, while strengthening your problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills in high-pressure clinical environments — positioning you for long-term growth in healthcare technology and field engineering.
🎯 Requirements
- • High School Diploma or equivalent and the ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in technical or field service roles
- • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record over the past three years and ability to lift 50 pounds
