- • The Senior Director of Product Development leads the strategy, development, and commercialization of innovative wire and cable products that support Prysmian’s growth across telecom and multimedia solutions markets.
- • This role oversees cross-functional teams responsible for designing, testing, and launching new products while improving existing product portfolios.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include defining and executing product development strategy aligned with business and market needs, leading regional engineering and R&D teams, managing the end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to commercialization, and partnering with commercial, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure products meet customer requirements and can be efficiently produced.
- • The role drives innovation in materials, performance, and sustainability in wire and cable technologies, oversees technical standards and compliance, manages budgets and project timelines, identifies market opportunities and emerging technologies, and develops and mentors technical leaders and engineering teams.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in engineering, materials science, or related technical field.
- • 12–15+ years of experience in product development, engineering, or R&D, preferably in cable, electrical, or industrial manufacturing.
- • Proven leadership experience managing large technical teams and complex development programs.
- • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, product standards, and commercialization.
- • Ability to collaborate across global teams and translate customer needs into technical solutions.
