Prysmian S.p.A. is an Italian multinational corporation and the world’s largest manufacturer of energy and telecom cables and systems. Headquartered in Milan, it designs, produces and installs high-voltage power transmission, submarine interconnection, optical fibre and copper telecom cables for utilities, grid operators, industrial and infrastructure markets. The group operates through 108 plants in over 50 countries, employing approximately 30,000 people, and results from the 2011 merger between Prysmian and Draka.
