📋 Description

  • • As a Senior Direct Response Copywriter at Maneuver Marketing LLC, you will play a pivotal role in scaling a high-growth DTC health and wellness brand that has achieved over USD$100M in annual sales and serves more than 3 million customers worldwide. Your work will directly impact customer acquisition, conversion rates, and lifetime value by crafting persuasive, compliance-safe copy that fuels the company’s growth engine and supports its mission to drive positive change in consumer health.
  • • You will own the end-to-end creation and optimization of conversion-focused copy across the full customer journey, including advertorials, landing pages, upsells, cross-sells, static ads, and video ads. Your responsibilities will include identifying funnel gaps using performance data, refining ad creatives and landing pages based on A/B test insights, and implementing data-driven improvements that deliver measurable lifts in ROAS and LTV across key funnel stages.
  • • You will generate a continuous pipeline of fresh creative concepts—hooks, stories, arguments, and CTAs—designed to outperform control variants, while developing unique, differentiation-driven claims and mechanisms that remain compliant with FTC, FDA, and ASA regulations. This includes maintaining swipe libraries and trend repositories to inspire innovation across the creative team and ensure a steady flow of testable, high-potential ideas.
  • • You will deepen customer understanding by refining personas through research, surveys, polls, and forum mining to uncover psychological triggers, objections, and emotional motivators. By analyzing competitor and cross-industry strategies, you will identify new messaging angles and opportunities to strengthen emotional resonance and improve conversion performance.
  • • You will collaborate closely with media buyers, designers, product leads, editors, and project managers to align creative execution with growth objectives, contribute to weekly and monthly creative cadences, and streamline testing roadmaps. Your role will ensure timely delivery of high-quality, on-brand campaigns while maintaining alignment between direct response principles and brand consistency.
  • • You will ensure all copy meets strict compliance standards by crafting benefit-driven claims that avoid misleading language and working with legal/regulatory teams to prevent flagged or non-compliant messaging. This includes reviewing cross-channel messaging for balance between direct response effectiveness and brand safety, upholding a zero-tolerance policy for inaccurate or risky claims.
  • • You will leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity to scale creative production, develop effective prompts for generating copy structures and variants, and use AI-assisted writing for rapid iteration—while preserving human creativity, nuance, and strategic insight to maintain high-performing, authentic messaging.
  • • Success in this role will be measured through OKRs and KPIs focused on driving funnel performance via high-converting video creatives, consistently generating fresh creative concepts and iterations, and leveraging customer psychology to enhance emotional resonance across campaigns. Your impact will be evaluated through data-driven metrics that reflect real improvements in conversion, ROI, and campaign effectiveness.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience in direct response copywriting within an 8-9 figure DTC brand environment, preferably in the health, wellness, or supplements niche
  • • Proven ability to improve conversion rates, ROI, and campaign effectiveness through optimized copy across formats such as Facebook Ads, landing pages, listicles, and video scripts
  • • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in long-form and short-form direct response copy, with samples specifically from the health and wellness/supplements industry
  • • Demonstrated framework for customer research, including techniques like customer interviews, forum mining (‘copymining’), surveys, and review analysis to uncover psychological triggers and testable messaging angles
  • • Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to support research, ideation, and copy production while maintaining creative quality and strategic alignment
