- • Lead strategic development of creative and content initiatives that bridge brand strategy, audience insight, and execution across global client portfolios
- • Serve as the primary strategic link between Brand Strategy, Creative, Media, and Data teams to ensure all creative output is grounded in data-backed insights and aligned with commercial objectives
- • Translate complex brand positioning into clear, scalable messaging frameworks, content ecosystems, and platform-specific creative direction across digital channels including paid media, social, CRM, web, and SEO
- • Shape and oversee high-impact creative campaigns, providing strategic guidance to copywriters and designers while maintaining overall creative integrity and performance focus
- • Collaborate directly with design teams to inform asset development and execution, ensuring alignment with strategic briefs and audience insights before production begins
- • Utilize AI tools such as Pencil to enhance ideation, content generation, testing, and optimization workflows, driving innovation in creative production and scalability
- • Build and implement testing frameworks to evaluate messaging, copy variants, and creative assets across channels, translating performance data into actionable creative recommendations
- • Stay ahead of platform evolution, cultural trends, and emerging consumer behaviors to infuse current and relevant thinking into client work
- • Mentor and develop Creative Insights & Content team members, fostering strategic thinking, creative excellence, and AI fluency within the team
- • Act as a trusted client advisor, building strong relationships and contributing to long-term account growth through strategic insights and creative leadership
- • Contribute to the evolution of Jellyfish’s Creative Insights & Content capability by developing playbooks, frameworks, and internal ways of working
- • Support new business pitches and strategic opportunities by articulating Jellyfish’s leadership in insight-led, AI-enabled creative delivery
- • Drive operational efficiency and content scalability by identifying opportunities to streamline creative workflows using AI and data-driven approaches
- • Ensure all creative output is culturally relevant, strategically grounded, and optimized for performance across the entire customer journey
- • Represent Jellyfish as a thought leader in the intersection of brand strategy, creative execution, and AI-powered content innovation
- • Work from the NYC office 1–2 days per week with flexibility to work remotely up to 60% of the time
- • Maintain clear, compelling communication with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and creative outcomes
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years’ experience in copywriting, communications strategy, content strategy, or integrated creative roles within an agency or brand environment
- • Proven experience developing messaging systems, communications frameworks, and content ecosystems across customer journeys
- • Demonstrated expertise in translating brand strategy into cross-channel creative execution with a performance mindset
- • Experience leading multidisciplinary creative projects involving strategy, design, media, and data teams
- • Hands-on experience using AI tools in creative or content workflows, with curiosity about emerging technologies
- • Strong presentation, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills; experience leading or developing team members preferred
