  • • Own the East Coast revenue engine for Vevo, the world’s leading music-video network (25B+ monthly views). You will architect and execute a bold sales strategy that turns our unmatched catalog of premium music content into eight-figure annual partnerships with top-tier brands, agencies, and holding companies.
  • • Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing sales pod of Account Directors and Account Executives. Coach them to exceed quarterly targets, refine pitch narratives, and negotiate complex, multi-year deals that span CTV, OLV, programmatic, experiential, and branded-content solutions.
  • • Create and aggressively scale a robust, data-driven pipeline. Prospect Fortune 500 marketers, tier-one agencies (WPP, Omnicom, Publicis, IPG, Dentsu), and emerging DTC brands. Move opportunities from first call to signed IO by leveraging Vevo’s unique artist relationships, exclusive premieres, and proprietary audience insights.
  • • Serve as the senior external face of Vevo in the advertising marketplace. Own the room in C-suite presentations, industry panels, and client QBRs. Translate cultural moments—album drops, viral videos, livestream concerts—into compelling media packages that deliver measurable brand lift and ROI.
  • • Drive cross-functional alignment. Partner daily with Product, Ad Solutions, Marketing, and Insights teams to package new inventory, sharpen pricing strategies, and craft sales collateral that spotlights Vevo’s differentiated reach across TV, desktop, mobile, and emerging FAST channels.
  • • Champion a culture of experimentation. Pilot first-to-market activations (interactive shoppable videos, co-branded artist documentaries, immersive AR filters) and codify best practices that the global sales org can replicate across regions.
  • • Optimize revenue operations. Implement rigorous forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and CRM governance (Salesforce) to deliver predictable growth. Present weekly forecasts and monthly board-level narratives that clearly articulate risk, upside, and mitigation plans.
  • • Negotiate and close high-value, multi-year upfront and scatter deals. Structure agreements that include guaranteed delivery, performance bonuses, data licensing, and experiential extensions—often in partnership with label and artist stakeholders.
  • • Act as a strategic advisor to clients’ marketing and media teams. Translate KPIs—awareness, consideration, purchase intent, tune-in, streams—into tailored media plans that ladder up to broader business objectives.
  • • Stay ahead of industry trends. Monitor shifts in privacy regulation, programmatic buying behaviors, and attention metrics to ensure Vevo remains the first call for innovative, brand-safe, premium video environments.
  • • Foster inclusive leadership. Recruit, retain, and develop diverse talent; create clear career paths; celebrate wins loudly; and cultivate psychological safety so every team member can bring bold ideas to the table.

🎯 Requirements

  • • BA/BS degree with outstanding academic record; MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • • 8+ years of media-sales experience with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity managing quota-carrying teams
  • • Deep network of senior-level contacts across traditional, digital, and programmatic agencies, plus direct client relationships
  • • Proven track record closing seven- and eight-figure annual contracts in video/TV marketplace
  • • Demonstrated success scaling a sales function in a high-growth or resource-constrained environment; must be a self-starter
