This pivotal role is designed for a strategic financial leader who thrives on delivering actionable insights, driving robust financial processes, and fostering a culture of analytical excellence. You will be at the forefront of financial strategy, directly influencing investment decisions and contributing to the overall success and growth of the company.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to lead and refine the comprehensive budget and forecasting processes. This involves collaborating with various departments to gather financial data, develop accurate financial models, and present clear, concise financial projections. You will ensure that these processes are efficient, accurate, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives, providing a solid financial roadmap for Sur La Table.
- • A key aspect of this role is driving critical financial analysis and reporting. You will delve deep into financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks. This includes developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs), preparing insightful management reports, and conducting ad-hoc financial analyses to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements. Your ability to translate complex financial data into understandable business implications will be crucial.

These presentations will articulate financial performance, strategic recommendations, and future outlooks, requiring exceptional communication and presentation skills.

- • You will be expected to continuously seek opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities. This includes identifying and implementing best practices in FP&A, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency, and ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- • By providing strategic financial guidance and robust analytical support, you will empower Sur La Table to make informed decisions, optimize resource allocation, and achieve its ambitious growth objectives. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on a beloved brand with a rich history and a bright future.
- • The Director of FP&A will be a key contributor to the financial health and strategic direction of the company, ensuring that financial planning and analysis are seamlessly integrated into the fabric of business operations and decision-making.
