- • Serve as the strategic financial partner to the Chief Global Growth Officer, providing data-driven insights to guide marketing and growth initiatives across global markets.
- • Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) for Rover’s global growth and marketing functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- • Collaborate with senior leadership to allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal investment in high-impact growth channels and customer acquisition strategies.
- • Develop and maintain financial models that evaluate the ROI of marketing spend, product initiatives, and international expansion efforts.
- • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across digital marketing, paid acquisition, retention programs, and customer lifetime value (CLV) to inform strategic decisions.
- • Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, and Operations to align financial goals with business objectives and operational execution.
- • Prepare and present executive-level financial reports and dashboards that translate complex data into actionable insights for C-suite and department heads.
- • Drive financial rigor and discipline across growth initiatives by establishing scalable processes for budget tracking, variance analysis, and cost optimization.
- • Support global expansion by analyzing financial implications of entering new markets in Canada, Europe, and Australia, including local tax, regulatory, and operational considerations.
- • Leverage AI tools provided by Rover to enhance forecasting accuracy, automate reporting workflows, and uncover hidden trends in customer behavior and spend efficiency.
- • Ensure financial controls and compliance standards are upheld across all growth-related financial activities while maintaining audit readiness.
- • Act as a change agent in fostering a culture of financial accountability and data-driven decision-making throughout the growth organization.
- • Work in a hybrid model requiring minimum two days per week in-person at the Downtown Seattle office (Mondays and Thursdays).
- • Maintain close alignment with the Sr Director of Finance to ensure consistency in financial reporting, governance, and strategic priorities across the broader Finance team.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as a Director or Senior Manager in FP&A within a high-growth tech company
- • Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for marketing and growth functions
- • Demonstrated ability to partner with C-suite executives and influence strategic decisions through financial insights
- • Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics, customer acquisition costs (CAC), and customer lifetime value (CLV)
- • Experience working in global markets with exposure to international financial planning and cross-border operations
- • Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance financial analysis and automate reporting
