Director, Global Logistics (Remote)

📋 Description

• • Own the end-to-end global logistics strategy for Myriad360, leading a distributed team of Freight Coordinators, Quoting & Routing Specialists, Export Documentation & Compliance Specialists, and International Logistics Support Coordinators. You will set the vision, define quarterly OKRs, and coach each team member to deliver world-class service to enterprise clients across 40+ countries.
• • Drive daily operational excellence by personally stepping into escalations, reviewing complex routing requests, and ensuring every shipment—whether a single pallet or a 40-foot container—arrives on time, intact, and fully compliant. You will act as the final authority on carrier selection, incoterms, and exception management, turning potential delays into client success stories.
• • Architect and continuously refine scalable processes that cut cost per shipment, reduce transit variance, and improve quote-to-delivery cycle times. You will map current workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement Lean or Six-Sigma improvements that can be rolled out across all Integration Centers and forward-stocking locations.
• • Serve as the company’s chief trade-compliance officer, owning the export-control program for dual-use IT hardware subject to EAR and ITAR. You will maintain classification matrices, run restricted-party screening, file AES/EEI entries, and deliver quarterly training to Sales, Engineering, and Finance so that every employee understands their role in keeping Myriad360 compliant.
• • Build and nurture a global partner network of freight forwarders, customs brokers, NVOCCs, and last-mile couriers. You will negotiate annual rate agreements, audit invoices for accessorial accuracy, and launch quarterly business reviews that turn vendors into strategic allies capable of supporting 30% year-over-year shipment growth.
• • Establish a data-driven culture by defining KPIs such as On-Time-In-Full (OTIF), Cost per Kilo, Customs-Release Cycle Time, and Customer NPS. You will stand up real-time dashboards in Power BI, publish weekly scorecards, and run monthly Kaizen events to close performance gaps before they impact clients.
• • Partner with Sales during pre-sales cycles to design logistics solutions for complex, multi-site rollouts. You will translate customer SLAs into routing guides, advise on DDP vs. DAP trade-offs, and provide landed-cost models that help Account Executives win multi-million-dollar deals.
• • Collaborate with Order Management and Integration Centers to synchronize build, test, and ship schedules. You will lead daily stand-ups during critical launches, coordinate white-glove deliveries to data centers, and ensure serial-number capture and advance-ship notices flow seamlessly into client systems.
• • Champion customer experience by creating a tiered support model that gives every client—from Fortune 100 hyperscalers to emerging SaaS startups—visibility, proactive notifications, and a single point of contact. You will personally review top 10 client feedback themes each month and implement service-recovery actions that turn detractors into promoters.
• • Lead change-management initiatives as Myriad360 expands into new regions (LATAM, MEA, APAC). You will evaluate free-trade zones, set up local Importer-of-Record entities, and design reverse-logistics programs that support end-of-lease asset returns, refurbishment, and circular-economy goals.
• • Mentor the next generation of logistics leaders through structured development plans, cross-functional rotations, and tuition reimbursement for CSCP or CTL certifications. You will hold bi-weekly 1:1s, conduct semi-annual performance reviews, and maintain a succession bench that is ready to scale with company growth.
• • Report to the VP of Operations and serve as a key member of the extended leadership team. You will present quarterly business reviews to the CEO and Board, highlighting cost savings, risk-mitigation wins, and customer-satisfaction trends that demonstrate logistics as a competitive differentiator.
