📋 Description

• As the Director of Servicing - Strategy & Analytics at GoodLeap, you will be at the forefront of shaping the financial health and performance of our rapidly growing sustainable solutions portfolio. This pivotal senior role is responsible for owning the end-to-end analytics, insights, and compelling storytelling across our servicing, collections, and investor portfolios. You will serve as the primary analytical leader for post-origination performance, acting as a strategic counterpart to our Capital Markets analytics team, ensuring a holistic view of our financial products.
• Your core mission will involve providing executive-level analysis and forward-looking insights that drive strategic decision-making. This includes developing and delivering investor-ready narratives on critical aspects of portfolio performance, such as delinquency trends, credit changes, and the impact of macroeconomic factors. You will be expected to proactively identify emerging risks and opportunities within the servicing and collections landscape, delving deep to understand the root causes behind observed trends.
• A key aspect of this role is the ability to clearly articulate the downstream impacts of these trends and insights to both internal leadership and external investors. This requires not just analytical prowess but also exceptional communication skills, enabling you to translate complex data into clear, credible, and actionable intelligence. You will be instrumental in building confidence and understanding among stakeholders regarding the performance and value of our assets.
• You will be responsible for developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting frameworks that provide a comprehensive view of servicing operations. This includes analyzing payment processing efficiency, customer default rates, recovery rates, and operational costs. Your insights will directly inform strategies to optimize cash flow, minimize losses, and enhance customer retention within the servicing lifecycle.
• Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Servicing Operations, Collections, Risk Management, Capital Markets, and Product Development. This collaboration is essential for gathering data, validating assumptions, and ensuring that analytical insights are integrated into broader business strategies and operational improvements. You will act as the analytical bridge, connecting the operational realities of servicing with strategic financial planning.
• The role demands a deep understanding of loan servicing principles, collection strategies, and the regulatory environment governing financial services. You will leverage this knowledge to identify areas for process improvement, automation, and innovation within the servicing function. Your analytical work will support the development of predictive models to forecast delinquency, identify at-risk borrowers, and optimize collection efforts.
• You will also play a crucial role in supporting our investor relations efforts. This involves preparing detailed reports, presentations, and ad-hoc analyses for current and potential investors, showcasing the strength and stability of our serviced portfolios. Your ability to present complex financial data in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner will be critical to maintaining investor confidence and attracting new capital.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior analytics or strategy role, with a strong focus on financial services, loan servicing, collections, or portfolio management.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives and actionable insights for executive leadership and external stakeholders, including investors.
• Expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and financial forecasting, with proficiency in tools such as SQL, Python/R, and advanced Excel.
• Strong understanding of credit risk, delinquency management, and investor reporting requirements within the financial services industry.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with investors and senior executives.
