- • Lead the organization through its first SOC 2 Type II audit, establishing policies, controls, and evidence-collection processes to achieve and maintain compliance
- • Define and maintain SOC 2 policies, procedures, and technical controls across Trust Services Criteria; build continuous compliance monitoring integrated into engineering workflows
- • Own site reliability and security as a hands-on leader within a senior engineering team, setting standards, tooling, and culture for resilient systems at scale
- • Architect and oversee cloud infrastructure for high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability; harden IaC pipelines with security scanning and policy-as-code guardrails
- • Establish and enforce SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs; own incident management lifecycle including on-call rotations and post-incident reviews
- • Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to embed reliability and security into the software development lifecycle

🎯 Requirements
- • Direct, hands-on experience leading an organization through a SOC 2 Type II audit from readiness to report delivery
- • Deep expertise in Azure, including networking, identity (Entra ID), and security services
- • Strong experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code, including module design and state management
- • Proven track record designing and operating highly available, distributed systems in production
- • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and modern CI/CD tooling and DevOps practices
- • Strong understanding of application and network security principles, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and zero-trust architectures
