📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end product design strategy and execution for Jasper AI’s product suite, ensuring alignment with company mission, customer needs, and innovation goals.
• Direct and mentor a team of product designers, fostering professional growth, design excellence, and a culture of inclusivity and user-centered thinking.
• Establish and uphold design standards, systems, and processes to maintain consistency, scalability, and quality across all product experiences.
• Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, research, and marketing teams to translate business objectives into intuitive, high-impact design solutions.
• Champion inclusive design practices by integrating accessibility, equity, and diverse user perspectives into every stage of the design process.
• Drive innovation by identifying emerging design trends, technologies, and methodologies that enhance product usability and competitive differentiation.
• Own the design roadmap for key product areas, prioritizing initiatives based on user feedback, business impact, and strategic alignment.
• Conduct and facilitate design critiques, user research synthesis, and usability testing to inform iterative improvements and validate design decisions.
• Represent the design team in executive and cross-functional meetings, communicating design vision, rationale, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels.
• Ensure design deliverables meet high-fidelity standards, from wireframes and prototypes to final UI implementations, with attention to detail and user experience.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and feedback within the design team through regular one-on-ones, skill development opportunities, and peer collaboration.
• Partner with HR and talent acquisition to define design role profiles, interview candidates, and build a diverse, high-performing design organization.
• Measure and report on design success through qualitative and quantitative metrics, linking design outcomes to business KPIs and user satisfaction.
• Advocate for design thinking across the organization, educating non-design teams on the value of user-centered approaches and design-led innovation.
• Maintain awareness of industry benchmarks and competitor product experiences to position Jasper’s design quality at the forefront of the AI product space.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience leading product design teams at scale, with a track record of shipping complex, user-centric digital products
• Demonstrated expertise in design systems, UX research, and accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring junior designers and building high-performing design teams
