📋 Description

• As Director, Product Design — Back Office at ServiceTitan, you will lead the design of the financial and operational backbone of the trades, shaping how agentic back office experiences serve tens of thousands of tradespeople daily.
• You will hire, train, mentor, and retain a high-performing team of product designers and design managers, owning end-to-end design of AP, AR, purchasing, inventory, project financials, and month-end close workflows as a unified system.
• You will partner with cross-functional teams to evolve product development processes, drive user-centered design, and ensure high-impact, well-executed projects that align with company vision.
• You will build design standards, leverage AI as a strategic accelerator, foster a culture of design excellence, and mentor designers to strengthen user empathy, decision-making, and accessibility in products.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in a SaaS or enterprise environment, preferably on a platform
• Proven track record of building and leading a team of 10 or more designers
• Hands-on familiarity with AI-assisted design tools (e.g., Figma Make, Claude, Cursor) and a commitment to evolving design practices
• Experience designing for agentic or AI-driven experiences where users review, approve, or override system outputs
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with a dedication to mentoring designers and fostering healthy design processes
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and analytical skills, with ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage trade-offs in fast-paced environments
