- • You will be instrumental in mentoring and developing Software Engineering Managers and their respective teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Your leadership will directly impact the technical direction and execution of key initiatives within your assigned business track.
- • A core aspect of this role involves acting as a strategic and technical liaison, bridging the gap between business objectives and technological solutions. You will collaborate closely with Product counterparts to identify execution opportunities, providing the necessary guidance and support for your teams to capitalize on them.
- • You will be empowered to influence the strategic direction of the business, proactively researching upcoming initiatives to establish a clear and effective technical path forward for your teams. This forward-thinking approach ensures alignment with the broader company roadmap and vision.

- • As a company advocate for your teams and track, you will champion their needs and requirements to ensure their success and optimal performance.
- • You will provide crucial support to your Software Engineering Managers as they guide their teams through complex system design processes, collaborating effectively with architecture, peers, and other stakeholders.
- • A significant part of building high-performing teams involves working closely with the recruiting department, actively participating in candidate screenings and interviews to identify and attract top talent.
- • Maintaining a strong connection with your teams is essential. You will ensure that every member of your track feels valued, recognized, and supported within the DriveTime Family of Brands on a daily basis.
- • You will be at the forefront of advancing our engineering practices, particularly by driving the responsible adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- • This role will involve designing and leading the implementation of software solutions that deliver tangible business value, leveraging modern technologies such as GraphQL, Segment, Braze, Pega, and cutting-edge front-end technologies.
- • You will explore and implement innovative uses of AI for code generation and throughout the broader engineering SDLC, staying ahead of technological advancements.
- • A working knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM) platforms will be utilized for evaluating business rules, managing workflows, and developing UI screens.
- • You will contribute to the design and implementation of GraphQL solutions, ensuring efficient and scalable data retrieval and manipulation.
