- • Lead and grow the Platform, Web Infrastructure, DevOps, Site Reliability, Release Engineering, and Infrastructure Architecture capabilities for FreedomPay’s Commerce Platform, ensuring mission-critical systems are reliable, automated, and fast to deploy.
- • Oversee a pragmatic mix of established on-premises infrastructure and a growing Kubernetes footprint, driving improvements in system reliability, automation, and deployment speed across global operations.
- • Partner with engineering and operations teams to scale infrastructure that supports FreedomPay’s award-winning platform used by major enterprises in retail, hospitality, healthcare, financial services, and more across multiple continents.
- • Foster a culture of technical excellence and operational resilience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a business casual atmosphere and strong commitment to security and compliance.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience leading web infrastructure, DevOps, Site Reliability, or platform engineering teams in complex, mission-critical environments.
- • Deep expertise in Kubernetes, container orchestration, and modern infrastructure-as-code practices.
- • Strong background in managing hybrid environments combining on-premises systems with cloud-native technologies.
- • Track record of improving system reliability, automation, and deployment frequency using SRE and DevOps principles.
- • Experience with PCI DSS, point-to-point encryption, or other financial services security standards is a plus.
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; equivalent practical experience accepted.
