  • • Lead and oversee a portfolio of pet and veterinary facilities within the Central Region of Colorado, ensuring exceptional care delivery for pets and exceptional service for pet parents.
  • • Live and model Destination Pet’s mission, vision, culture, and policies while inspiring the same commitment across all team members in your district.
  • • Conduct a minimum of monthly center visits to evaluate operational performance, team effectiveness, and guest experience standards.
  • • Monitor day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency across all assigned centers.
  • • Partner with Center Leadership and District Veterinary Directors to manage staff and doctor scheduling that aligns with client needs, business goals, and team well-being.
  • • Collaborate with Recruiting and Veterinary Directors on hiring, retention, support, and compensation strategies for veterinary and support staff.
  • • Analyze financial reports including profit & loss statements, doctor production metrics, and KPIs to identify revenue opportunities and celebrate performance achievements.
  • • Ensure completion of quarterly district inventory and maintain accurate operational records.
  • • Reinforce and uphold all Destination Pet training, safety, and service programs across every facility in the district.
  • • Ensure strict compliance with federal and local labor laws including DEA, EEOC, ADA, Fair Labor Practices, OSHA, HAZMAT, and radiation safety regulations.
  • • Conduct weekly leadership calls with district teams to review performance, address challenges, and align on strategic priorities.
  • • Implement a structured one-on-one cadence to support individual growth plans and management development for center leaders.
  • • Partner with center management to identify and execute additional revenue-driving initiatives beyond core services.
  • • Inspect facility properties and recommend necessary repairs or improvements to maintain safe, clean, and efficient operational environments.
  • • Assist center teams in monitoring and responding to all safety, emergency, and crisis situations in partnership with safety leadership.
  • • Resolve customer and staff complaints that cannot be addressed at the center level, ensuring consistent, professional, and compassionate outcomes.
  • • Interact with customers, guests, visitors, and team members with professionalism, courtesy, and a pet-obsessed mindset.
  • • Maintain impeccable facility standards for cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency across all locations.
  • • Cultivate a pervasive culture of safety, vigilance, and care among all team members, embedding it into daily operations.
  • • Assume additional responsibilities as needed to support the evolving needs of the organization and its mission.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Must be a pet fanatic — pets are considered part of the family
  • • Must reside in Colorado
  • • Required travel of 50%-75%, including overnight stays
  • • Management experience in a multi-unit environment or demonstrated prior management experience
  • • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database applications
  • • Ability to frequently lift 40 pounds and work in environments with disinfectants, animal dander, and excretions
