  • • As an Ecommerce Manager focused on Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and Operations at Modern AI Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving measurable revenue growth across multiple Shopify-based brands by owning the end-to-end experimentation lifecycle and ensuring seamless execution of ecommerce initiatives. This dual-function role bridges strategic insight and operational excellence, making it critical to the company’s ability to test, learn, and scale profitable changes quickly and efficiently.
  • • You will be responsible for identifying high-leverage opportunities in the customer journey, designing rigorous A/B tests, coordinating cross-functional execution, and translating test outcomes into actionable business insights — all while maintaining rigorous project discipline to ensure experiments ship on time, on brand, and with measurable impact.
  • • The Ecommerce team at Modern AI Inc. operates as a centralized growth engine supporting multiple Shopify brands, leveraging data, design, and development to optimize conversion funnels. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, designers, paid media, retention, and brand stakeholders in a fast-paced, remote-first environment where experimentation is core to the culture.
  • • In this role, you will develop advanced expertise in CRO methodology, ecommerce project management, and funnel analytics — gaining hands-on experience with Shopify, GA4, A/B testing frameworks, and task management tools like Asana or Jira. You’ll have the opportunity to directly influence revenue outcomes and grow into a leadership position in ecommerce strategy and operations.
  • • Build and maintain a structured experimentation roadmap aligned with brand goals and revenue targets, prioritizing tests based on potential impact, effort, and strategic value.
  • • Identify high-impact optimization opportunities across key touchpoints including product detail pages (PDPs), collection pages, cart flow, and checkout experience using quantitative and qualitative data.
  • • Write detailed, developer-ready test briefs that clearly outline hypotheses, success metrics, user experience changes, and implementation requirements for design and engineering teams.
  • • Define clear hypotheses and projected revenue impact for each experiment using conversion math (CVR Ă— AOV Ă— traffic) to ensure tests are grounded in business outcomes.
  • • Conduct thorough QA of implemented tests across devices and browsers to validate functionality, tracking accuracy, and user experience before launch.
  • • Analyze test results using GA4, Shopify analytics, and statistical significance tools to calculate incremental revenue, lift, and confidence intervals.
  • • Present performance insights and actionable recommendations to stakeholders through clear reports and visualizations that drive decision-making.
  • • Translate CRO strategy into structured tasks in Asana or Jira, breaking down experiments into actionable tickets with clear ownership, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
  • • Manage timelines and dependencies across multiple brands, coordinating sprints and release cycles to prevent bottlenecks and ensure on-time delivery.
  • • Act as the central point of coordination between development, design, paid media, retention, and brand teams to align priorities and maintain momentum.
  • • Maintain up-to-date documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and experiment logs to ensure knowledge sharing and process consistency.
  • • Ensure all experiments and site updates are deployed cleanly, monitored post-launch, and rolled back if necessary to protect user experience and data integrity.
