• • As the EDD Manager Compliance Operations at Coinbase's London Center of Excellence (COE), you will be instrumental in combating financial crime and upholding our mission to democratize cryptocurrency access.
• • You will spearhead our Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) operations, overseeing a significant team of KYC compliance analysts based in London, who support a multitude of jurisdictions.
• • This role involves managing and scaling operations for hundreds of analysts globally, ensuring adherence to the highest quality standards and regulatory obligations.
• • You will be the strategic leader responsible for scaling our London site operations, focusing on attracting and retaining top talent, ensuring effective onboarding and continuous training, and meticulously monitoring Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to drive improvements.
• • Your expertise in compliance, operational excellence, and process management will be crucial in developing and implementing effective solutions that align with our organizational goals.
• • You will collaborate closely with your team, cross-functional partners, and external vendors to ensure our operations scale thoughtfully and efficiently.
• • A core part of your role will be to execute the strategic vision for Compliance by enhancing operational performance, including the successful implementation of operational OKRs, KPIs, and strategic initiatives.
• • In partnership with Compliance, Legal, Program Management, and other operational support teams such as Workforce Management, Vendor Management, Analytics, and Quality Assurance, you will build and scale robust operational mechanisms.
• • These mechanisms will be designed to effectively manage productivity, elevate quality, and contribute to establishing best-in-class compliance operations.
• • You will be responsible for developing and refining standard operating procedures, leveraging your compliance background and the expertise of your team to gather feedback and drive upstream improvements to user guides, procedures, and policies.
• • A deep understanding of metrics, reporting, capacity planning, and financial management will be essential for making informed, data-driven decisions.
• • You will lead regular vendor business reviews (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) to foster a culture of customer focus and operational excellence across all support tiers.
