📋 Description

• This Field Electrician role at Critical Loop, Inc. is essential to deploying and maintaining cutting-edge battery energy storage systems (BESS) and mobile power solutions that enable resilient, modernized grid access for businesses and communities.
• Day to day, the electrician will install, test, and commission BESS and mobile power systems; perform preventive maintenance and repairs on low- and medium-voltage systems; lay out and wire electrical infrastructure; collaborate with engineering on prototype iterations; and maintain detailed records of work performed across field and facility sites.
• Critical Loop is an innovative energy technology company building the integrated edge grid of the future, specializing in advanced energy management and battery control systems to create reliable, affordable, and responsive energy solutions through grid modernization.
• In this role, the electrician will deepen expertise in energy storage systems, gain hands-on experience with prototype development and field deployment, collaborate closely with engineering teams, and contribute to the advancement of resilient energy infrastructure in a fast-moving startup environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Licensed Electrician (Journeyman or higher) or equivalent industrial/commercial experience
• 3+ years working with power systems, ideally including energy storage or mobile power equipment
• First hand knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC), OSHA electrical safety, and coordination of permits/inspections
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and construction drawings
• Proficiency with standard electrical test tools (multimeter, insulation tester, clamp meter, etc.)
• Comfortable performing both energized and de-energized work with correct safety protocols
• Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed
• Valid CA driver’s license
