Endace Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• • The Endace Platform Engineer will architect, deploy, integrate, and operate Endace packet capture, monitoring, and network recording platforms across a large, distributed enterprise, playing a critical role in enabling network forensics, packet analytics, and Zero Trust visibility for high-security clients including Fortune 500 companies and U.S. government agencies.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and deploying Endace appliances for enterprise-scale packet capture, building high-availability clusters across data centers and cloud environments, integrating Endace with SIEM/SOAR/NDR/EDR tools, maintaining and tuning hardware and software for optimal performance, troubleshooting packet loss and timing issues, managing PCAP retention and storage lifecycle, aligning visibility architecture with Zero Trust telemetry requirements, automating workflows using Ansible/Terraform/scripting, building dashboards and runbooks for SOC and IR teams, and providing training to operational teams on platform usage and best practices.
