- • The Endpoint Management Specialist role at Capita plc is critical to maintaining and evolving a large-scale enterprise Windows device estate of approximately 100,000 end-user devices, ensuring stability, security, and compliance across the environment.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting and maintaining endpoint management platforms such as Symantec CMS (Altiris), Microsoft Intune, and SCCM; owning the full Windows device lifecycle from build to retirement; acting as a technical escalation point; delivering software deployments, security controls, and patch compliance; supporting project and change delivery; identifying opportunities for standardization, optimization, and automation; producing technical documentation and runbooks; creating and executing system test plans; and collaborating with service teams and Lines of Service to meet client and operational needs.
- • The role sits within Capita’s End User Services team, part of a dynamic leader in consulting and digital services that supports major UK organisations across government, healthcare, education, and finance sectors, using cutting-edge technology to drive innovation and efficiency.

🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in a similar endpoint management or EUC role, ideally within a large, complex enterprise environment
- • Strong hands-on experience with Altiris, Intune, and/or SCCM (Altiris experience is highly desirable)
- • Solid understanding of Windows endpoint environments and device lifecycle management
- • Strong technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
- • Good working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, including VLANs, proxies, firewalls, and subnets
- • Experience working on organised project activity alongside BAU support
- • Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills
- • Comfortable working collaboratively across technical and service teams
