• • As an Engineering Director focused on Cloud Transformation at Unisys Corporation, you will be at the forefront of driving significant business growth and technological innovation for our clients. You will act as a key member of the client management team, responsible for developing compelling, value-laden business solutions that outshine the competition and secure deals for Unisys.
• • Your primary objective will be to cultivate deep technical relationships with clients and prospects, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor and thought leader. This involves understanding their core business goals and desired outcomes, and then expertly aligning them with innovative and effective cloud-based solutions. You will proactively identify and articulate unrecognized business value opportunities through a curious and client-centric approach, consistently driving tangible business value for our clients.
• • A significant aspect of this role involves generating new revenue streams and improving profit margins across all assigned accounts. This requires a strategic mindset, a keen understanding of market dynamics, and the ability to translate client needs into profitable solutions. You will be expected to forecast, plan, implement, and review financial and people resources to meet defined business requirements, aligning with Unisys' strategic plans, targets, and objectives, while also defining intermediate goals and contingency plans.
• • You will be instrumental in building 'client for life' relationships by leveraging the full breadth of Unisys' portfolio to deliver breakthrough results. This involves building solid professional relationships with senior-level management within client organizations, becoming their go-to expert and trusted advisor.
• • Functioning as an expert in one or more domains, you will demonstrate marketable expertise in at least two market segments and/or functional/technical areas of specialization. Your knowledge will be used to build your personal image and reputation, staying current with the information management, technology, and IT infrastructure industries, competitor strategies, and vendor offerings. You will convey an executive presence, a high level of professionalism, and a focused commitment to excellence in all interactions.

You will work closely with client stakeholders to deeply understand their business needs, goals, and objectives, and then define the organization's cloud strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with overarching business strategies.
• • You will identify opportunities to leverage cloud services for enhanced efficiency, agility, and cost savings, recommending suitable cloud platforms, services, and deployment models. Architecting and designing robust cloud-based solutions that meet both business and technical requirements, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability, will be a core responsibility. This includes evaluating and selecting appropriate cloud technologies, frameworks, and tools, and designing data integrations and connectivity between cloud and on-premises systems, ensuring compliance with all security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
• • Developing and presenting cloud security strategies, policies, and solutions, and ensuring solution compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) is critical. You will stay abreast of evolving security threats and implement appropriate security measures. Furthermore, you will assess client environments and systems, developing effective strategies for migration and/or transformation to the cloud, and planning the seamless integration of platforms and architectures with cloud-based solutions.
• • Collaboration extends to working effectively with client business and technical teams, as well as internal Unisys cross-functional teams. You will provide technical guidance and leadership on cloud architecture and best practices, communicating complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Facilitating workshops and knowledge sharing on cloud technologies, and building and maintaining strong relationships with cloud service providers and technology vendors will also be integral to your success.
