• • As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a product with the potential to add healthy years to millions of lives across Europe. This is a unique opportunity to own mission-critical code from day one, directly influencing product and technology decisions that impact thousands of members and contribute to solving complex, real-world challenges in health data, privacy, and user experience at a European scale.
• • You will be instrumental in building and scaling our full-stack platform, working across the entire technology spectrum from frontend interfaces to robust infrastructure. We are seeking individuals with a sharp edge in at least two technical areas, a product-minded approach, entrepreneurial DNA, and a proven track record of 0-to-1 product development.
• • Your responsibilities will encompass designing and building cutting-edge full-stack features using our modern technology stack, including TypeScript, Next.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, and Prisma. You will take ownership of our cloud infrastructure on AWS, utilizing tools like CDK and GitHub Actions for CI/CD, all while maintaining a stringent security-first mindset to ensure HDS compliance.
• • Collaboration is key to our success. You will work closely with our medical advisors, the dedicated AI team, product managers, and designers to translate complex biomarker science into reliable, user-friendly software solutions. This cross-functional interaction will be crucial for translating scientific breakthroughs into tangible health benefits for our members.
• • A significant part of your role will involve architecting and maintaining scalable, highly available systems, with a particular focus on optimizing PostgreSQL performance. Ensuring strict GDPR and HDS compliance through robust security practices will be paramount, given the sensitive nature of health data.
• • You will also be a driving force in our engineering culture, actively participating in and leading engineering rituals, and championing continuous improvement across the team. This includes contributing to code reviews, refining development processes, and fostering a culture of learning and shared ownership.
• • Our technology stack is modern and efficient, featuring a TypeScript monorepo with React/Next.js for the frontend, NestJS for the backend, PostgreSQL with Prisma for data management, and Tailwind CSS for styling. For AI initiatives, we utilize Python, LangChain, LangGraph, PGVector, GCP Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Airbyte. Our infrastructure is built on AWS, leveraging Qovery for Kubernetes, Docker, and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
• • We encourage you to experiment with and build AI tools daily, contributing to our vision of engineering in 2026. Your entrepreneurial spirit, low-ego mindset, and default-to-action approach will be highly valued. We expect you to take radical ownership, fixing what you break and documenting your solutions thoroughly.
• • A genuine passion for health is essential. Whether you track your own biomarkers, engage in sports, or read scientific literature for fun, we want to connect with individuals who are intrinsically motivated by improving human health and longevity.
• • Fluency in English is required, with French being a significant advantage. While prior team leadership experience is beneficial, we expect you to remain hands-on with coding for at least 80% of your time, ensuring you remain deeply connected to the technical execution.
