- • Campus LLC is actively seeking passionate, experienced, and student-centered instructors to lead high-impact, online English Composition courses. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic educational environment dedicated to fostering academic excellence and driving innovation in higher education. If you are an educator with a deep commitment to student success, a knack for virtual engagement, and a desire to make a tangible difference in the lives of learners, this role is designed for you.
- • As an English Composition Instructor, you will be instrumental in delivering our core curriculum, focusing on foundational and advanced writing skills. You will teach 11-week live, online courses, employing engaging, student-centered instructional strategies that encourage active participation and critical thinking. Your primary goal will be to create an inclusive and supportive virtual classroom where students from all backgrounds feel empowered to learn and grow.
- • A key aspect of this role involves fostering a strong sense of community within your online classroom. This includes providing timely, constructive, and personalized feedback on student work, responding to all student inquiries within a 24-hour timeframe, and hosting regular weekly office hours. These office hours are not just for academic support but also serve as a crucial touchpoint for building rapport, deepening student understanding of complex concepts, and reinforcing the collaborative spirit of the learning environment.
- • You will also have the opportunity to mentor and collaborate with Teaching Assistants (TAs). This involves co-managing the course, guiding your TA on effective grading methodologies, and sharing best practices for student engagement. This mentorship role is vital for ensuring a consistent and high-quality learning experience for all students, while also developing leadership skills within your TA.
- • Your academic responsibilities extend to meticulously evaluating student progress, maintaining accurate grade records, and submitting comprehensive mid-quarter and end-of-quarter evaluations. This detailed assessment ensures that students are on track and that their learning journey is effectively documented and supported.
- • Collaboration is at the heart of Campus LLC's educational philosophy. You will work closely with a diverse network of peers and Campus staff, sharing innovative teaching strategies, discussing pedagogical challenges, and collectively contributing to the continuous improvement of our online instructional offerings. This collaborative environment fosters professional growth and ensures that our curriculum remains at the forefront of educational best practices.
- • Beyond the classroom, you will have the chance to contribute to enriching co-curricular programming. This could include participating in or leading speaker series, organizing networking events, or developing other initiatives designed to broaden the student experience and connect academic learning to real-world applications and career development.
- • Staying abreast of the latest developments in your field is paramount. You will be expected to remain current on industry trends, pedagogical advancements, and particularly the effective integration of emerging technologies, including AI-powered educational tools, into your curriculum. This commitment to continuous learning ensures that our students receive the most relevant and forward-thinking education possible.
- • This role is perfectly suited for educators who are driven by a mission to provide equitable access to high-quality education, especially for students who have historically been underserved by traditional higher education institutions. You will be part of a growing faculty network dedicated to creating transformative learning experiences that empower students to achieve their academic and professional goals.
- • The compensation structure reflects the value and impact of this role, with $8,000 offered per 4-credit course and $5,000 per 1-2 credit course, each spanning an 11-week quarter. This role requires a commitment of approximately 8-10 hours per week per course, with some flexibility for essential training sessions. We are looking for dedicated professionals who can commit to the upcoming academic quarters in 2026, including Spring (April 6 – June 19), Summer (July 6 – September 18), and Fall (October 5 – December 18).
