- • The Enrollment & Credentialing Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring healthcare providers are properly enrolled and credentialed with insurance payers, enabling timely billing and revenue capture for Local Infusion’s specialty infusion services.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing end-to-end payer enrollment for infusion therapy providers across commercial and government payers (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial plans), preparing and submitting applications via payer portals (UHC, BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, etc.) and enrollment systems (CMS, Availity, NaviNet, CAQH), tracking application status, following up with payers, resolving discrepancies, coordinating re-credentialing and revalidation processes, and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
- • The role supports Contracting, Revenue Cycle, and Operations teams by ensuring providers are credentialed without delays, directly contributing to revenue integrity and operational efficiency in a fast-growing healthcare startup.
- • The person in this role will develop deep expertise in healthcare payer enrollment, credentialing compliance, and revenue cycle management while gaining exposure to AI-driven infusion care technology and cross-functional collaboration in a mission-driven, remote-first environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree preferred + 1–3 years of experience in payer enrollment, credentialing, healthcare administration, or related revenue cycle function
- • Familiarity with payer portals (UHC, BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, etc.) and enrollment systems (CMS, Availity, NaviNet, CAQH, etc.)
- • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines simultaneously
- • Excellent communication and follow-up skills for coordinating with credentialing, contracting, revenue cycle, and payer representatives
